Colossians 2:8 teaches us to “Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elements of the world, rather than Christ.”In keeping with our goal of doctrinal stability, we then turn our attention to how we can help churches. The Church Ministries division has many tools available to assist churches in ministry, church growth, and fellowship with other CMC churches - and we are adding more regularly!

  • SUNDAY SCHOOL LITERATURE

    The Congregational Methodist Church writes and provides Wesleyan-doctrine Sunday School literature to both its churches and those that are not within the CMC. The curriculum is not required to be part of the CMC, but its consideration is strongly encouraged.

  • LEADS CLUB

    This group exists for Pastors and Ministry leaders from anywhere who would like to connect with our team, ask questions, and support each other through life in ministry.

  • BOOK OF DISCIPLINE

    As a denomination, we provide a Book of Discipline to give our churches tools when they need them for structuring their local church. The primary purpose of this book is to keep our efforts as a denomination (national and regional) and our churches aligned with our statements of doctrine.
